Would you like to schedule a solar cooking seminar or workshop for your club, school, church, organization? The Spring-Fall season is the perfect time for everyone to discover the world of solar cooking.
Each participant will
- make their own solar oven
- prepare and solar cook a delicious hot meal using FREE energy from the sun
- have a skill that will help them in emergencies
- prepare hot meals and drinks for their family
- pasteurize water
- sterilize implements
- protect the environment, and
- put money back into their pockets through solar cooking
Workshops give you an opportunity to discover the fun and savings of solar cooking. Before long, you'll be ready to move up to a commercially-built solar oven that will last years and, with the SolarChief(R), provide FREE energy-saving meals for generations to come.
Workshops are limited to 15 for a single leader, with one assistant provided for distributing supplies, etc. If more than 15 people want to participate, additional assistants will be needed.
The Solar Cooking Hands-on Workshop is $10 per person/family for construction of one oven. Additional ovens are $5 each. Mileage is $.57 per mile. Destinations out-of-state or requiring more than four hours driving time will be charged for overnight accommodations based upon the local single-room fee. The room reservation is to made in advance of the workshop/seminar.
The seminar is an opportunity for your group to learn about solar cooking, have all your questions answered, and view an amazing array of solar cookers that can be made with just a few household items. Fee: $5/person.
