First Radish Harvest in Spring Container Garden

First Harvest of Radishes from Spring Container Garden

Oh, look how pretty. I knew they were ready but not this ready. Aren't they lovely...going to braise them and not share with ANYONE! "These are mine," says The Little Red Hen and I richly deserve them!

  1. Those are beautiful! Mine have another two weeks to go but they will be ready at the same time as my Mesclun mix. I can't wait to make a nice salad from my garden!

  3. Wow, I'm just getting started here. What's the recipe for braised radishes? And have you ever tried radish sandwiches? They made these a lot in the depression.

  8. Who says healthy food can't be delicious too? Those look incredible! It reminds me of growing our own radishes in our backyard as we were growing up :)

  12. Now why didn't I think of radishes in containers? Shoot, and now it's almost too warm for them. Will have to try in the fall.
